ESOT Congress 2025 Bursaries

Supporting excellence in transplantation

ESOT is wholly committed to advancing transplantation science and creating equal opportunities for researchers at all career levels.

We offer a number of bursaries to assist with the costs associated with attending the congress, ensuring that talented professionals from around the world can participate and share their latest research findings.

We invite all researchers, clinicians, and scientists to submit their science to be in consideration for our congress bursaries.

Bursaries will be granted as per the Terms of Reference and the final score of the abstract (when applicable). Selections for bursaries relating to the ESOT Congress 2025 is made by the Congress Scientific Programme Committee on a competitive basis.

ESOT Full Bursary

Twenty grants will be given to clinicians or scientists in training who have submitted the best abstracts. They will be awarded:

  • A travel grant of €500

  • A 12-month ESOT membership

  • Free registration for the ESOT Congress 2025

*Eligible submitters must still be in training by the time of the conclusion of the congress


ESOT Registration Bursary

Twenty grants will be given to clinicians or scientists in training who have submitted the best abstracts. They will be awarded:

  • A 12-month ESOT membership

  • Free registration for ESOT the Congress 2025

NEW! ESOT Future Leaders Bursary

Ten bursaries are specifically dedicated to young professionals from low- and middle-income countries who submitted an abstract. This new initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring fairness in accessing important resources.

The bursaries are made possible thanks to the generosity of key opinion leaders who have graciously donated their unclaimed reimbursements and complimentary membership to support this cause.
