With increase number of DCD, cardiothoracic retrieval and transplantation is facing numerous challenges in organ procurement, optimasation and assessment. In this course, the participants will be exposed to the basic concepts of machine perfusion and its usage in organ transplantation. For beginners, it provides a detailed survey of the available perfusion devices and methods so that the participants can learn and compare the different systems more systematically.

This course is intended for those who already possess some familiarity with machine perfusion but are seeking practical, device-specific training to enhance their clinical or research applications.
