As part of the Young Academics Masterclass, the QUOD Innovation Competition is now open, offering pump-priming funding of up to £5,000 (GBP) to support innovative research using the QUOD biobank.
What is QUOD?
The Quality in Organ Donation (QUOD) biobank is one of the world’s largest resources of biological samples and associated clinical data from organ donors. It provides a unique opportunity for researchers to explore key questions in organ donation and transplantation, from improving graft outcomes to understanding donor physiology.
Who Can Apply?
This competition is aimed at:
Early-career researchers
Clinicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
Based at research institutes or universities outside of the UK
Whether in a lab or clinical setting, this is your opportunity to access valuable biosamples and get your project off the ground.
